Wheatland Spring’s 6th Annual Christmas Tea with Santa
Tickets will be available to the public in our online “SHOP” starting Tuesday, November 5, 2024. (Fork + Rake Members receive early access to tickets.)
For all of those who truly believe…Sunday, December 22nd Santa returns to the farm for one of the most magical family events of the year here at Wheatland.
Your child will have the opportunity to write Santa a letter or draw him a picture prior to his visit. Santa will write your child a personalized letter back for hand delivery on the 22nd. Letters must be received in our magical Red Mailbox to the North Pole no later than Sunday, Dec. 15th (no exceptions, please!). The Red Mail Box will be available on the farm starting Friday, Nov. 29th. (Please ensure all letters/pictures have the full name of the child, first and last, as well as the name on your reservation - the adult to purchased tickets. This is the only way we can pair the letter with the child.)
Christmas Tea with Santa on Dec. 22nd is a ticketed event. There will be no walk-up availability regardless of whether you wrote a letter. Please get your tickets early! They will sell out very quickly.
Each child will have personal 1:1 time with Santa. There is no standing in lines- Santa will come to your table for a chat and pictures. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served to all children. Families will gather with Santa for a 10-minute story time at the end of each session. Parents may take as many pictures as they like on their own cameras with Santa - we will not be taking pictures for sale.
Food, snacks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage will be available for purchase. No outside food or beverage, please.
Every child over 12 months of age needs a ticket. This year, there will be three time slots.
- 12:00PM - 1:25PM (First session families can arrive as early as 11:30AM to get settled in. Santa will start making his rounds at noon! Please gather all items from your table before heading to the story time at the end of your session. You must vacate your table by 1:15 to make room for our session 2 families, but you are welcome to remain on the farm as long as you like. At the start, please wait to be seated - Santa needs to know where each family is located.)
- 1:30PM - 2:55PM (Second session families will be seated starting at 1:15. Please wait to be seated - Santa needs to know where each family is located. Please gather all items from your table before heading to the story time at the end of your session. You must vacate your table by 2:45 to make room for our session 3 families, but you are welcome to remain on the farm as long as you like until closing time at 6PM.).
- 3:00PM - 4:30PM (Third session families will be seated starting at 2:45. Third session families can stay as long as they like until we close at 6PM that day. Seating will begin at 2:50PM. Please wait to be seated - Santa needs to know where each family is located.).
Adults DO NOT need tickets, so bring the grandparents too! (To accommodate larger families, there is a discount for families of over 3 children. Please do not combine two families together to receive this discount. This is meant as a gesture of generosity to help larger families. If you are attending with only 1 child and that child is under 12 months of age, please buy a ticket for 1 child.)
Pricing is the same as last year: $22/child with a $66 max per family.
When you check out, you can leave a message if you would like to be seated with another ticketed family. Tables will be assigned so requests must be received well in advance of the event.
There is an option to purchase either an indoor or outdoor table. Please note that outdoor tables will have a visual of Santa for a longer time, as there are more outdoor tables to visit.
Santa will offer a 10 minute story time at the end of each session in our 19th century history bank barn.
We seat families each year based on family size, number of adults, etc. When reserving, please provide an accurate-as-possible adult head count. Please dress warmly regardless of where you are sitting. Even if you have an indoor table, please bring your coats. We have a playground onsite.
We look forward to this day each year. We hope you’ll come and enjoy the magic with us.
