Like our friends Palmyra, Rooted & Restless is bursting with something to say. Vibrant Stone fruit, citrus zest, and bright melon leap from the glass, supported by a soft malt body that invites the next sip.

Fittingly, the foundation of the beer is 100% Virginia grain, rooted in the Commonwealth. Just like Palmyra and Wheatland Spring. Classic U.S. hops reflect a familiar perspective from here, with New Zealand hops signaling our shared restless desire to explore.

Rooted & Restless

We’re thrilled to celebrate Palmyra’s first studio album, Restless, with this beer. It’s been some time in the making since the Palmyra / Wheatland Spring connection goes back a ways. Before the start, really. Teddy played at the farm when he was still a solo musician and even before our first grain harvest. Once Palmyra was formed, they’ve treated guests to amazing performances at Wheatland Spring for years.

It’s been a huge source of pride to watch Palmyra explode on the scene. It’s easy to understand why. They occupy a space that’s both timeless and novel. It’s old soul observations through clear eyes. There's honesty in this juxtaposition that shines a light on universal parts of the human experience.

Through it all, we’ve felt a deep sense of gratitude that our Bank Barn remains Palmyra’s “home” concert venue. It’s been the place for all of us to connect over the years. And like all of Palmyra’s fans around here, we’re rooted together at Wheatland Spring, wherever our restless travels take us.
